Founded in 1646, our school has been at the heart of Corstorphine for many, many years. With around 650 pupils and 56 staff, we are a non denominational, mixed gender, inclusive school and nursery.

Joining Our School
If your child is about to start their learning journey with us, our Nursery Handbook and School Handbook are great resources to find out all about the school. You might also like to have a look at School Life to find out a bit more about what we get up to and how we work.
Our last school inspection took place in 2018. We are working together as a school to make sure that everyone gets the best from their learning journey – we have a comprehensive School Quality Improvement Plan (SQIP) which is reviewed on annual basis.
Communications
We love to share daily updates and photos through our twitter account (@corstorphineps) and you can see more detail about your child’s learning and update us with any achievements from home through their own personal online Learning Journal.
Our school office sends out important information and requests for payments (for things like class trips or visiting specialists) through Parentpay. This is also how you book school meals. Parentpay is a web based system for communications and school payments which you will be sent log in details for when you join the school.
Our lovely Headteacher, Mrs Briggs, sends out a weekly newsletter (usually on a Friday) with a round-up of all the latest goings on and highlighting important dates or instructions.
